Skagit County is in the northwestern section of Washington State, USA.Roughly 60 miles north of
Seattle, Washington and south of Vancouver, B.C. Canada. The Scenic North Cascade Mountains stand
to the east, towering the fertile farmland of Skagit Valley which plays host to a variety of agricultural crops.
Running through the Skagit Valley is the mighty Skagit River flowing westward toward
the lovely San Juan Islands. World-famous tulip fields blanket and beautify the Skagit Valley in
the spring. While Canadian geese, Snow geese and Trumpeter swans flock
here in the winter. Bald eagles glide overhead year round and great blue herons wade
along the shorelines of the waters.
